12 days of sandwiches

It’s been great to be back and newslettering (v.) with you all again. Along with more sandwich writing comes more sandwich eating - a major bonus, minus this reflux from the Spicy Chicken Katsu Sando I ate at lunch. It came from Mama Yoshi Mini Mart in Ridgewood, Queens and the bun covers about a third of the cutlet they artfully stuff in there.

Since spinning the newsletter back up, we’ve been eating sandwiches at an alarming rate. Part of this is just our natural state as sandwich devotees.

However, we’re also working hard (i.e. eating two lunches a day and napping after) so we can upload posts to test out the Club:Sandwich app - which you may recall we teased last week.

Well, we’re almost ready to share it with you, so get your sandwich photos ready as we move on to that shiny new MSD in the cloud. 

Along with the app launch, we’re trying to nail down some solid merch ideas. Thanks to everyone who shared feedback on the t-shirts from last week’s newsletter. There’s still time to send us your thoughts and to vie for the highly coveted Hoagie t-shirt that almost certainly won’t properly fit whoever wins it. All you have to do is reply here with any feedback or ideas.

But wait, there’s more!

We had so much fun with the shirts, we also mocked up some hats. These are much more likely to fit because they have adjustable snaps - so don’t worry about your oversized head.
